Wanna be the Number One Fan and be showcased on the blog!!!!

All you have to do is answer the two following questions and BAM...Its done!!!

(1) When did you first fall in love with Lupe Fiasco? (for guys: no homo)

(2) If you could steal one thing from Lupe Fiasco what would it be and why?

Also you can include any other information about yourself if you want.
Example: your myspace, favorite color, pictures, WHATEVER YOU WANT!!!
This is your time to shine.

Aaa i can't believe i'm writing on this bt here goes :s
1.)Basically it was when i heard Kick Push - i prob heard it late cos it was summer 2006 or sumthing nd my friend was like 'u heard that song about skating',she didn't really remember next thing we know its on MTV lol so yer basically i was a fan from then on
BUT i have to say the first time i saw lupe was on the touch the sky video when his name comes up on the screen,i was always like 'who is lupe fiasco' i thought his verse was sick tho (made the song and video better) so ya those 2
and then my aunty sent me 'the cool' for my 16th bday present along with another cd and i bought food and liquor this year (lol i know 2 yrs or so after,i'm sorry lol) jus wanna say the mixtapes r crazy too

2.)Probably his cool,i don't know. It would sound cheesy if i say i dnt want to steal anything from him lol i'm just a fan

in conclusion,i wrote my own version to 'and he gets the girl' titled 'and she gets the guy' but i decided not to complete the song,i might do in the summer.... well thats it FNF UP!lol :)

1) The first time i fell in love with lupe was when i first saw the KICK PUSH music video on BET. I had never heard the song on the radio before hand so i was totally unawhere of the song and him as an artist. The thing that sparked my interest in him was the fact that I had never heard a Hip/Hop song like it before. SKATEBOARDING?! He was obviously a lot different from the other Hip/Hop artist on BET and the song was sick as hell! "I LIKE DIS DUDE!" At the end of the video when his name flashed on screen i read to myself: "Lupe Fiasco? Hmm, is he puerto rican" LOL! but seriously, even his named sounded interesting to me. So, I googled him, read some articles and watched some interviews on youtube(I found out he wasn't puerto rican LOL). I saw what kinda dude he was and how he didn't hide how he was deep into japanese anime, comic books, toysand his versitile musical interest! So the realness got me!

2) LOL I don't think I'd even have the guts to steal anything from him but im gonna pretend for a moment that im this "crazy lupe stalker". I'd most likley steal one of his wee ninjas! I really wanna have one hangin on my jeans too!

Well, to give u some info on ya gurl Nee': Im fun and crazy most of the time and will say random things a lot LOL. I've been described as an "animated person". I like to read but Listening to music is my fav pastime. my fav color is blue. I may be female but pink is my least fav color. My fav music artists besides Lupe is Lauryn Hill (beautiful, talented sista), Coldplay, No Doubt, Beyonce', Jay Z, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse, Kanye West, Janet Jackson and of course Michael (the "KANG OF POP"). My fav author is Mary Monroe. My fav NBA player is Kevin Garnett! My fav artist, as in paint and drawings, is Justin Bua (artwork is oozin' with that urban vibe) So u can check out my page at www.myspace.com/eenaj  smile
THANX! HOPE I WIN!

(1) I really got into Lupe when Kick, Push drop...but it really wasn't until I saw he performed summer of 2006 at the Congress Theater back in Chicago. His show was done in conjugation with Sneaker Pimps I believe and he had to perform on the main staircase because BET had a model search thing going on the stage. But even though Lu had to perform on the staircase, he was extremely energetic and excited to perform even if it was on a staircase. Even then he had a superstar attitude about him that you really couldn't deny.

(2) I wouldn't want to steal a damn thing from Lu. Because if I were to take something from Lu...he wouldn't be Lu anymore...

3) Look for me on facebook! (Roderick P. Hilliard). I love Chicago too much!!! Peace y'all!

I won't even try and front, I know I'm not Lupe's 1# fan because even I have my limitations to what I'll do. But I do appreciate Lupe's music, his many contradictions, unabashedness and lyrical content.

I'd come across Lupe on the Kanye song, but I wasn't a Kanye fan and didn't pay attention to the song or Lupe. But I was doing my final university essay on hip-hop music, so I came across Lupe's version of Jesus Walks. I was intrigued, and began to take Lupe seriously. But life got in the way...

Then on a bored day at work, I came across a random website and I was listening to Lupe and something guess clicked. It was Hurt Me Soul.

I wouldn't say I'm in love with Lu, namely because I think the term "love" is flawed, but he intrigues me and he expands the mind with his lyrical content.

If I could steal anything from Lupe, I would steal Lupe himself! Bound him to a chair and have a long conversation with him. When I'm satisfied I'd let him go. Think Misery minus the obsessiveness. Maybe I force him to write a song dedicated to me.

About, I'm a wonderful myraid rainbow contradiction. But I like my solace.

I first fell in love with Lupeee... when I heard "coulda been" on a mixtape, I was like who is that??? then I saw kick push and fell in love with the song and later found out he did coulda been  I was hooked ever since I'm a fiend.

If I could steal anything from lupe would his swager he got the subtle confident that makes him sexy hes sure about himself and also his self control he manage to incorporate his religion and morals in his music thats hard to do in the music industry

ps. cant wait to see you in North Carolina coming real sooooooon!

Whaddup Fiasco Fam???

Guess who's on third/Lupe steal like Lupin the third/

That opening line hooked me to Lupe after that verse I knew he was dope & we are from the same side of town so I looked further into him and found out this is the same guy who made Kick, Push this is while it was making rounds in Chicago before it was all over MTV. Then I found out he was hosting my cousin Nikki Lynette's Hard Candy mixtape and I was like he is dope & cool.... Finally I got my hand's on the Farenheit Mixtapes and the Chi-Town Guevera mixtapes and I was gone. June 2006 came & I was pissed by the leak. September came and as soon as I listened to Food & Liquor I was blown away. Being a huge Nas fan I thought no album could touch Illmatic, It Was Written, or Stillmatic. I had to admit I was wrong. Best album ever. I was dissapointed in the videos for F&L though. I thought they played up the nerd thing too much. Then I saw Superstar. This dude is truly my idol so 4give the long ass paragraph. In short I am the proud purchaseer of 5 copies of Food & Liquor and 21 copies of "The Cool" including an autograhped copy and Special Edition copy with bonus disc from the Halloween House Of Blues Show in Chicago (which i attended). And as an faithful of the FNF Army I have given some of the 21 copies of "The Cool" to people who otherwise would have used the Limewire Devil to hear Mr. Fiasco spit. Those efforts have brought him two fans of 55 yrs plus (my 61 year old father and my godfather) as well as ex convicts and a slew of others.

And if I could steal from Lu it would be the platform he has to express his views to the world... Oh and the Superstar Jacket.....

Sorry it was so long.....

P.S. Ms. Muah I'm not biting your signature that's my favorite Lu line too....
